Alfeeya not only won an award for her first film but is also emerging as one of India’s most promising film stars.  This immensely talented female actor who is also a successful business woman, western recording artist as well as a trained belly dancer won the Best Debutant Award in her very first Hindi feature film – Jihad which has been produced by Hyder Kazmi and directed by Rakesh Parmaar. She received the award at the NRI Achievers Awards function held by Film and TV Trade Preview from former Bollywood legend Zeenat Aman. Jihad is a path breaking film showcasing the situation in Kashmir which has got followers of commercial cinema excited. This film has been screened at various Indian as well as International film festivals held in Berlin, Toronto, Germany and Cannes which has got her commercial as well as critical acclaim all over the world. The worldwide theatrical release of this film is awaited with bated breath by audiences and distributors alike.

She pursued singing and dancing since a very young age and it was just a matter of time before she decided to become an actor in the glamorous and challenging Indian film industry. Being a believer in the power of meticulous preparation, Alfeeya earned her acting chops by completing the advanced acting course at Actor Prepares and workshops at The New York Film Academy.

Alfeeya is also on the verge of releasing stunningly crafted English and Hindi songs which are expected to become popular with Young India.
